The Luck of the Irish
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of my Irish friends, and part Irish friends alike, as that would be me.
My paternal great grandmother was born in Ireland which entitles me to an one-eighth Irish designation.
My eyes, although given to me by my Ukrainian mother, show a little of the Shamrock, especially today!
And so with pride I can say, ‘My Irish eyes are smiling’
And what a spectacular day it is here with 63F degrees and sun shining brilliantly in a cloudless sky.
I could say spring has definitely sprung, yet the only sign I have seen is the temperature. Soon many more will follow and I intend to witness them.
I have experienced many beautiful rainbows in the sky over my lifetime, although I have never reached the end of any to find that illusive ‘pot of gold’.
It could just be that to truly experience the luck of the Irish one needs to be 100% Irish!
Or, perhaps when I view luck to be where preparation meets opportunity, my day is yet to dawn.
However, just in case my one eighth counts, I intend to purchase some lottery tickets today :)
We now have go through a few using the subject material articles in your internet now, and i genuinely like your trend of jogging a blog. I further it to my favorites web site site file and probably examining spine again quickly. Fantastic summary
